On Thursday, July 10, 2025, IAM Local 16 hosted a summer picnic near Templeton SkyTrain Station at YVR. Members gathered to enjoy an afternoon of great food, music, and connection. Two food trucks served a variety of sandwiches; and the music courtesy of one of our own members, DJ Ceerrvs. He set the perfect vibe, with upbeat tracks that had people dancing, laughing, and enjoying a well-deserved break together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leading the festivities was the Local 16 Executive Board: President Rick Singh, Vice President Phil Bacordo, Treasurer Neil Chia, Trustees Clement Nunes, Ranvir Johal and Matt Sergent and Educator Bhupinder Roy; alongside John Vincent, who serves as Conductor Sentinel and Communicator for Local 16 and Communicator for District 140. Their dedication set the tone for a day marked by unity and pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As laughter rang out and conversations flowed, the picnic proved a vibrant testament to Local 16\u2019s spirit.
