Dan Janssen, pr\u00e9sident g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du district 140, s\u2019est rendu \u00e0 Ottawa le 24 septembre 2024 pour parler \u00e0 un comit\u00e9 permanent au Parlement \u00e0 propos du stress et de l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 que ces membres subissent en raison de l\u2019absence de garanties appropri\u00e9es et d\u2019exigences en mati\u00e8re de pr\u00e9avis, ainsi que pour souligner la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019un salaire d\u00e9cent pour les travailleurs et travailleuses de l\u2019a\u00e9roport.<\/p>\n

Janssen a incit\u00e9 le comit\u00e9 \u00e0 combler les lacunes qui existent encore dans le Code. \u00ab Je demande de l\u2019aide pour mes coll\u00e8gues. Le projet de loi C-330 pourrait \u00eatre adopt\u00e9 au cours de la pr\u00e9sente session de la Chambre. La l\u00e9gislation sur les p\u00e9riodes de pr\u00e9avis des AO devrait s\u2019aligner sur les d\u00e9lais de licenciement collectif et la norme minimale ne devrait pas \u00eatre inf\u00e9rieure au salaire de subsistance pour tous les travailleurs et travailleuses des a\u00e9roports. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Le d\u00e9put\u00e9 n\u00e9o-d\u00e9mocrate Alexander Boulerice a d\u00e9pos\u00e9 un projet de loi d\u2019initiative parlementaire, le projet de loi C-330. Une fois adopt\u00e9, ce projet de loi garantirait que les travailleurs et travailleuses conservent la m\u00eame convention collective et le m\u00eame syndicat, m\u00eame si l\u2019employeur change au cours d\u2019une p\u00e9riode de roulement de contrat.<\/p>\n
